OMG I want a poodle

Dear NC, I miss you so! I've been horrible at keeping in touch, and I neeeed to change that. The thing is, I'm still living at my cousin's house and I never want to use the phone while I'm here b/c I'm always with them and feel I'm being rude if I talk on the phone. Also, to get "away" means I need to go to my bedroom/outside and it's cold!!! I need to move out and get my own apt and own schedule and a life!

I think I'm going to get this, it's on super sale ($50!) and I love it.

I also can't wait to move b/c I want to paint the walls!

And lastly, I'll leave you with this hideous thing. They actually make this at my work. ew. Who would wear this? Ever? Lucky me, I get to buy all the fabric for this line (not pick it out, just purchase). Can't wait to see what else they come up with. BUT! good thought, I really want to make a quilt and we have sooo much fabric laying around the factory and I am hoping I can take some of the sample yardage and eventually come out with a fancy quilt.

I got to go tour one of the fabric mills earlier this week! They took us through the whole entire process... starting from the animal fiber, carding, combing, spinning the yarn, weaving, dying, finishing, drying, etcetcetc.

This mill made the most beautiful wools/cashmere/saxxon/merino fabrics, much more expensive than anything I can buy. They are actually an Italian company...also have a huge mill over there (umm. field trip there, too please!)

Whoa. Welcome to New England. I was out of power for two days! FREEZING!

Yesterday I took the train into Boston, met a friend from highschool, explored, and went to see:

ahaha.
Also, went to Cambridge for dinner, and walked down the Harvard Yard. Very pretty, can't wait to go back when it's warmer.

As soon as the weather gets better (snow tomorrow :( ) I will take some pics. It's pretty up here. Boring. There are wild turkeys, llamas, bison, and billy goats down the street!
